Something amazing happens when you put control in the hands of a kid—they are creative, active, and empowered. From the authors and illustrator of the Kids Outdoor Adventure Book, Bird Brainiacs is an interactive high-engagement journal for kids 8 – 13 who love birds.
Throughout the pages, kids are encouraged to write, draw, and give their opinions about anything and everything related to birds—quizzes, “Mad-Lib” style fill-in-the-blanks, game ideas, “would you rather?” scenarios, nature challenges, “nature truth or dare,” and so much more…and of course—bird facts and space to log their bird sightings.
The timing for this book has never been better as the nation celebrates the 100th Anniversary of its National Parks, with thousands of local and national efforts focused on getting kids outside.
